Admissions Process
BKA Waiting List
Enrollment Procedures
Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. Parents who have children currently enrolled at the center will have priority over anyone on the waiting list when the next opening becomes available. If you are expecting a baby, you will need to let the office staff know as soon as possible so we can add you to the waiting list for current parents.
Upon acceptance into the Academy, parents will be required to pay a $55 non-refundable registration fee, per child, prior to enrollment accompanied by the registration form for the current school year. At the time of registration, you will receive an admission packet with all the necessary forms and information needed to enroll your child. ALL forms, a signed Doctor’s medical release stating the child has been examined in the past 12 months and is ok for childcare along with an updated immunization record will be required to be turned in and your child’s file completely done PRIOR to his/her first day of class. A completed file with all required forms is a Minimum Standard from the state so we can and will disallow participation in the program until all records are received and/or updated in a timely manner.
After your first 12 months at BKA, a supply fee of $50 per child will be added to your September statement at the beginning of each subsequent school year.
Children will have a 2-week adjustment period prior to permanent enrollment. If, after those 2 weeks, your child is not adjusting to the new environment, we will have a parent conference to discuss what the next steps will be in his/her permanent enrollment. We reserve the right to decline permanent enrollment if we feel your child is not adjusting properly or within an appropriate timeframe.
